The combination of Polynesian motifs, a means of affirming and reclaiming one’s History.
The Maori tattoo tradition, while seemingly widespread today due to the genuine sharing from the Polynesian community, or the strong cultural appropriation, obeys erudite considerations in its creative process, nonetheless leading to rich artistic possibilities.
Resulting from a combination of elements, each with its own meaning, the tattoo design is unique to the wearers in that it describes their life, achievements or the history of their ancestors.

Whilst the constraints and rules imposed on traditional arts (including music) have been challenged in Western societies – notably in France thanks to the Impressionist movement during the Second Empire – colonisation may have caused a delay in the chain of artistic experimentations and revolutions elsewhere in the world.
How can one reclaim an artistic identity that may have been stifled or forced to disappear, or which, on the contrary, has hardened in order to defend itself and endure? What are the essential steps involved in reinterpreting ‘traditional’ forms of Art today?
2- Philosophical and spiritual reflection on contemporary society, between the need for understanding and the necessity of spontaneous communication through artistic expression:
It is about developing Art and aiming at situating my work within the artistic continuity of contemporary painters from Expressionism and then Abstract Expressionism, to name but the most recent, by recognising that our awareness of the World, our environment and our History shapes and stimulates our inspiration.
represent the cognitive saturation from dealing with overwhelming and complex thoughts.
